Co-owner Elizabeth Eschete, whose roots are deep in the Texas soil, recognized a need for consistent, nonjudgmental support for families across the state, and Lone Star Doulas was born.

Elizabeth is a single mother to two beautiful daughters, and is passionate about empowering women and families through every stage of life. A few of her favorite things are Cajun food, blogging, and spending time with her family.

Elizabeth is trained by the prestigious doula certification organization, ProDoula and works as a labor doula, postpartum doula, and postpartum placenta specialist.

Elizabeth has built a business devoted to excellence. She chose ProDoula as the certifying body for her agency because of the value they place on professionalism. The ProDoula curriculum is standardized, so that each doula affiliated with Lone Star Doulas is consistent in both approach and standards. All Lone Star Doulas are accountable to Elizabeth, and the entire agency is accountable to ProDoula.

Clients and care providers feel confident when working with Lone Star Doulas because of these high standards and commitment to accountability.

Elizabeth has sought out the best of the best doulas in Texas, added them to her team, and they confidently serve Lone Star Doula clients.
